I have a 78 3/4 ton with full floater rear axle. my cousin has a 2001 2500HD that he put diffrent rims on and said he would give me the old rims. i think that they would look neat on our stlye of pickup. how would they fit on it and does anybody have any pics of somethin like this? they are both 8 bolt rims. im restoring this truck and will soon have some pics of it to post. thanks

Yeah I'm very interested in knowing this as well. There is somebody around me with a set of 3/4 2002 take off's for sale. My 88 3/4 burb has stock steel white rims with pizza pan hub caps. I hate them.

I know stock steel 3/4 rims are 4.25 inches of back space. I'm trying to find out what the new body rims back space is. If it's 4.5-3 they should work. I just have not had a set that I could lay my hands on to measure.

If you can get a measuring tape on the rims he has put a yard stick accross the wheel. Measure down where the rim meets the hub on the truck. Sub tract the distance from the yardstick to the bead on the rim and you can figure out the back space pretty close.

Let me know what you find.
