Anyone know why one park light would be dimmer than the other?

I'll second the ground problem, remove the light and sand/clean where it comes in contact with the grille.

Clip on a jumper wire from the light to ground and see if it gets bright.

Had the same problem and it was also a poor ground from the bulb socket to the light housing. If the bulb is solid up in the housing (my problem is usually the bulb drops down out of the housing) then you should clean up where they contact like was mentioned.

Check to make sure the socket is wired correctly. The bulb has two filaments, a bright one for the turn signal and a dim one for the parking light. Take off the lens so you can see which one is lit.

Also, even though the bulb base has offset pins, it is sometimes possible to force the bulb into the socket "backwards" which would produce the same result.

Andy may be onto something, but it does take a bit of violence (or a well worn/corroded socket) to get one in backward. The pins are off-set to prevent that, but I have seen it happen.

I've been seeing more and more with the made in china bulbs, thet the pins aren't as offset as they should be and it is very easy to make the mistake. Last month I returned 2 boxes of defective 1157 bulbs to napa for this very reason.

Well guys I don't have the bulbs in backwards even swapped to a set of yellow bulbs and that changed nothing. I ran a ground with alligator clips and that seemed to change nothing. Both bulbs are lighting up the same filament just one is super bright and the other dim.. Gonna try to finish the rest of the wiring harness today and see if its possible that maybe I have some column wires touching inside the cab?

Is the bulb good and tight inside the housing? If not it's the same as a ground issue. The bulb has to fit tight and not beable to move at all once set. I had to buy new assemblies for this same reason. If the bulb is in place and it moves around it's not making good connection on the side of the bulb which is the ground. I used some very small metal peices and wedged inside the socket and got it working better. Ended up buying new assembly though.

i'd double check all connections for full solid conact, as well as running a ground wire directly from the socket to the neg batt terminal

How does the left turn signal look when it's flashing? If it's dimmer than the right one then you may have the light blue and the purple wire reversed in the rubber plug- in socket.

If that doesnt work use a volt-ohmmeter to check to see if in fact you are getting the same +pos voltage on each side. could be a bad wire or connection along the way.

Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.
