Re: Control arms

Check out www.porterbuiltstreetrods.com or www.ridetech.com.
There are many companies that sell them.
Also look at CPP (ClassicPerformanceProducts)

Are you wanting to use air bags or coil springs?

Yeah a regular guy on here named Nate Porter. Oh wait, you mean like "real" regular guys. There were a couple of guys, I'll try to remember their screen names.

Re: Control arms

Nate's arms look great and are only $1000. Plus, he's already done the engineering for the geometry, too. I can't wait to run them.

Lightbulb Re: Control arms

i'm not affiliated with any company, i was using google search to find price comparisons on different control arms and ran across these -->
heres upper lower from Michigan metalworks, I may go with these. i emailed them info@michiganmetalworks.com got a response from taylor about pricing,

The uppers with balljoints are going to run 299$
the uppers with Jeebus Joints will run 459$
The lowers will be with balljoint only, and they will run 499$.

.
.
.
.
.
.
here is the jeebus joint and a regular balljoint

upper and lowers
spiderweb i believe is extra

and lower only

Re: Control arms

Anyone know if the Michigan Metalworks arms are gonna hang below the factory crossmember or allow the crossmember to lay out like the CPP arms?

The CPP arms mount just like the factory arms,... so they will contact the ground before the crossmember ever does.
(I have a set on my '69 swb).

Oh ok I was thinking they used smaller cross shafts to keep the crossmember lower.
