Cold Air Induction

I've been wanting to do this for a long time. Does anyone have any ideas on this, or pictures of how you did yours.?

Re: Cold Air Induction

been considering a true cowl induction like the old 60's nascar did by plumbing the air cleaner to the upper firewall getting cold air from the high pressure created at the bottom of the windshield. This would probably net you more air than anything up in the grill area.

Re: Cold Air Induction

if I had a truck I woud do this: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/NASCA...Q5fCarQ5fParts and cut a hole in my firewall at the front of the cowl. Then all the air being forced down into the cowl by the windshiled could be sucked up into the engine. Nice thing about vegas no leaves in your cowl as there are no trees to park under.

Re: Cold Air Induction

Thanks for the replies. I'll probably be picking up the air through the core support. some sort of shield will be needed to keep water from infiltrating in bad weather... I'll figure something out.
