beginning bod work q's

bodywork tools??..ive looked around and basically what ive concluded is the following..for clean looking work after welded.

hit with a grinding disc. hit with a flap disc. body filler. da sander. then prime, putty sand etc. is this right.

ive only had exp. with welding then using a grinding disc which was hard to get real smooth. but ive never really needed to do bodywork on anything. just messing around on scrap doors etc..would like to get a decent strategy under my belt. with practice of course.

what make me ask too, was this vid. he uses a die grinder? is that comprable to grinder and flap..sorry for the amateur questions..thanks in advance.
