frame is definetly bad! I loved this truck when it was originally done as the Traders 72, but didn't care for the latest version.

I was lookin' @ that rear frame clip & sayin' to myself "that rear clip & exhaust looks identical to the traders blk/red 72 truck". So I went thru more pics & sure enough, the slight top chop gives it away.

Let us observe a moment of silence . . . ......

Ok, moments up. I don't care for the new 'updates' vs. the original job done. SC, did they say what happend?

I CAN'T BELIVE MY EYES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I first saw this truck for sale on e-bay a coulpe months ago and downloaded every picture I could. This is probably the nicest showtruck I've ever seen and in a split second its ruduced to (for the mostpart) a pile of scrap, because of RICERS????????? I hope no one was killed or seriously injured because of this "FAST & FURIOUS" mentality!!! It makes me SICK to see this type of behavior on the road, if you cause this type of disregaurd for human life and property you should "LOOSE" your "PRIVILAGE" to drive "PERMANENTLY"!!!!!!!!! Get a life instead of trying to take one, Doug

What a shame. $15k is too much for it. There is nothing usable and I would guess that even the motor might be questionable.

How about another moment of silence?

Seems to me many of you are assuming (possibly incorrectly) that is was done by a street racer. Anyone know the true story behind the accident. Possibly the gal/guy who was driving had too much money and not enough sense (I see this way too often in Southern California). Or might have been hit by a police officer that ran a red light (see that also way too often out here).

Too much negative publicity has been given to street racing. There has been street racing since there has been cars. The beach boys even wrote very catchy and trendy song regarding it. I am note much to drag racing/street racing but do wish there was somewhere we all could drive our cars to their limit without being harassed and ticketed for using the vehicles as they were designed and trying to improve our driving skills.

My .10 cents.

Sure is a shame to see all of that truck to be reduced to nothing. Engine is probably trash also.

Would love a racetrack but have a problem paying the $200 (which is how much a track day is down in Southern CA) a day to run is way too much.

Call me poor but I seem to have a problem paying for a decent vehicle and to pay $200 everytime I want to play with it.

Is a track day cheaper in other states? Or is it just this litigious society?

$10 to race and $10 to get in for "rest and Tune" at a track near my place. You even get to race as many times as you like while the track is open. Too bad it is only 1/8 mile long. I still want to go up there and see what kind of numbers the old truck will click off, but i haven't got around too it yet.

I have been guilty of street racing...but im not one of those morons who pulls up next to you at a stoplight in rush hour trafic and strart revving their engine.....

Yellow72 and Jay- thats the diff between states!!! CA knows they can charge that much and the public will pay here. in most other states they wan the business of the tracks. CA does not really want that publicity or we would have more tracks than golf coarses

The first version of that truck was one of my all time favorites. I saw it a long time ago and it was even cooler in person. It lived here in oklahoma for a while and I really wanted it when it was for sale here. It is not even worth tring to fix now.

Says the engine alone was $36,000. He got ripped off. Too bad about the truck though.

That impact didn't look to harsh until you see the dashboard bent up in a V and the frame destroyed. Man....that's unfortunate.

I can't believe there are there are people bidding on it. I guess there must be some useable parts left on it. There's no way I would bid without seeing it in person.
Pretty sad...I'm sure countless hours were put into that truck before it was wrecked. I bet it screamed!
I sure wish someone would post some photos of what it looked like before.
