Stock Dual Exhaust
  I'm thinking (oh no) about ram horns and stock pipes. What year and model dual pipes will fit the manifolds? Where do I look?? Local??Thanks to all, Toby |

It is tough to beat the Heartthrob Exhaust system for our trucks when you are using stock rams horns. LMC carries the kit or you can get it right from the manufacturer at http://www.heartthrobexhaust.com/.
I put the 4x4 "kit" on my 4x4. It went on with no problems. I only had to purchase a hanger for the side that came from the factory without one on a stock single exhaust truck. I think the only trucks that came with dual exhaust from the factory were big block, 2wd trucks so unless you have a big block and 2wd you'll have to go aftermarket like the heartthrob kit. I don't work for Heartthrob or LMC

Most stock exhaust pipes are rusted pretty bad......
 But you can get rams horns pretty easy as most ditch them for headers.  I like the clean look and trouble free performance of rams horns. These are the original that came with my truck. I sand blasted them & used the duplicator high temp paint- followed by the 400* baking process they listed on the can. People said it wouldn't hold up, but it's doing great so far. s/t

If you the least bit picky at all, the LMC kit is not the best for overall fit and sound. Think your better off going to a local shop. They will work with to get the right sound and good fit. Keep your tax dollars local.

The only stock dual exhaust was with the big block.I go with custom aluminized.I tried kits in the past and they rotted over the axle in a year.I hear good reviews on some of the new kits.I always run headers,which is one reason why I stay with custom.
