I have a 16 gal poly cell under my truck....it fits good, & tucks up nice, but the cruise range is a little short tween stops. That old 383 is pretty thirsty IMO to do it again, I would look @ the biggest tank or cell that you can fit crazyAl

Member 67Slider did a tank swap recently using a 69 Camaro tank w/ flip down license plate to access the filler. Turned out really good w/ little mods. Going this route, you don't have to worry bout fabbing up a hole on the side of bed or bed floor for the filler. I plan on going this way on mine when the funds allow it.

How about something a little different? 10 Gal side tanks, one on each side.

Early Classics 18 Gallon Stainless tank. No fuss, no frame mods, just bolts in. Just peeks out below the rear bumper.
