Which would be the better valve spring compressor?

i noticed that there is a "wrap around" type and the other which appears to be basically a simple lever with notches at the end.

NOTE: i will basically be only working with small blocks for now. The chances of working with any other type of engine anytime soon is remote.

Recommendations for brand and model welcomed.

on engine or head on bench

if head is off veh definetly the wrap around. the other typer works with head on engine but remember you will need to put compressed air into head in order to keep valve from falling into engine
