Help with Center Caps

Hi,

I need help finding some center caps for my old style slots....

I went to a rim wholesaler yesterday with one of my rims to get it measured and to see what they had.

The old dude there said my rims were likely "Helibrand" from 1976 and the closest center caps he had were 2.925 (too small) and 3.15 (too big)

I measured the rims tonight and the outside face hole diameter is 3 1/8" (3.13)

The inside face hole diameter is 3 5/8" (3.63)

I looked on ebay...no luck...any suggestions??

Thanks!

Re: Help with Center Caps

Try these guys. If you have original Halibrands.

Re: Help with Center Caps

I will be in the same boat soon. Those wheels sure do look good, though!

Edit- is there a name cast in the back? A lot of them will have the manufacturer (Halibrand, Superior, U.S., etc.) cast in the backside, and sometimes the size, too.

Re: Help with Center Caps

Nope, no name cast in the back. Just size and date and what I think might be a cast number.

I've sent off alot of emails to different wheel/part stores to see what they say....so far no luck either!

I might have to get a disk cut by cnc machine for a cover... :-(

Re: Help with Center Caps

Try one of the custom wheel companies like Stockton Wheel, Coker, Wheel Vintiques, etc.
