Found some rust..
I knew I wasnt that lucky...to get a truck that just had minor cab corner rot.
I slid under the pass. side today to hack off the mangled exhaust and found a peice of the rocker panel is gone, and the rust got up into the floor pan a couple inches. Looks like the vent window in that door is bad and has been leaking for some time... I think, given the size of the problem, and the place it is in, I can get away with cutting out the section, tacking in a new one, and fiberglassing it top and bottom, then rhino line the floor of the cab. |

It happens.
 Glad you have a plan of attack. Good rule of thumb is if you can see visible rust, assume it is worse where you can't see.
