So are the 6 lug S-10 wheel the same as the 6's on my 58 as far as the lug nut spacing?

Re: 6 lug wheels

This is all new to me. What kind of S-10 has 6 lug wheels?

Re: 6 lug wheels

They never made a 6-lug s10 wheel.
That may be a typo.
The 6-lug C10 wheels are the same bolt pattern.

Re: 6 lug wheels

Oh. Well I'm pretty sure that the 6 lug pattern has been the same since forever.

Yes they are the same, the wheel offset is different but I do believe they fit.

And you need to check the centre bore. I think they're different.

Re: 6 lug wheels

I dont mean to hijack but while where on the subject can anyone tell me if early c10 rotors will fit on late model 79-80 b-body spindles & calipers?

Let me explain why I ask, I'm f/body clipping my 56 GMC & wanting to run 12" spindles & calipers of a 79 deville, I figure the 5 x 5 stud & hub face is larger & has room to redrill for 6 lug, or better still CPP has new six lug rotors for
71-72 & 73-87 pu. I know that diameter of the rotors are the same but PU rotors are thicker. They can be machined down but, are bearings & disc offset the same? thats what I need to know??

Re: 6 lug wheels

I'm not clear on exactly what you are trying to do, but the 1-1/4" thick rotors take a larger inner bearing than the 1" rotors - set #5 against set #6. Are you saying the Cadillac rotors have a 4-3/4" bolt circle and you want 5"? If your spindle takes a #6 inner bearing, look at the 1" "light duty" truck rotors that started in the 80s. Those have a 5" bolt circle, and you can probably redrill them for 6 on 5-1/2". Of course if the Cadillac rotors are 5" and fit the spindles, just redrill those.

Re: 6 lug wheels

Raycow, you kinda answered my question with the different bearings.
I'm possably buying a 79 deville as a doner, which should have 12" 5x5 rotors & spindles that I may be able convert into 6 lug due to the larger hub face.
My 56 GMC has the original spicer 45 3:07 that I will be keeping, so I would like to keep 6 lug all the way around.
I was just hoping that I could of bolted a pair of CPP's 6 lug rotors they have for c10. It would of saved me trying to re drill the GM b/body rotors?

The 6 lug chrome rims on my 50 3100 started life on a 68 C-10 then went to an 83 4x4 Suburban then to my 50.
88 and up 6 lug rim center holes are too small, we tried to put 2006 wheels on a 69 C-10.
