pre modeling my rig
does anyone know where i can get the software to model my truck before i actually paint it. like the car designers use?

local custom paint shop would be my first step. They would probably make you a rendering for free if not at least less than what the software would cost.
I want to say house of kolor has a nice program. you could even go to the photoshop part of the board and see if someone can get you pointed in the right direction.

What kind of modeling are you talking about?
Do you just want a static two dimensional rendering of what it could look like, or are you wanting to make a full 3D representation? If you just want a drawing, I suggest some Prismacolors and experimentation. If you want free software for photo manipulation and painting, then The GIMP might be for you. If you want a steep learning curve then welcome to the world of 3D modeling.
