Wiper Fluid/Washer Questions

Does anyone have a diagram as to how the wiper hosing is set up from the reservoir to the wipers? ANd how it is operated? I figured that I push the knob down to make it work but I could be wrong.

I have a 1970 Chevy C10 P/U

Re: Wiper Fluid/Washer Questions

I have a 70 c10 lwb and I push the knob for the washer fluid, twist it for the wipers.
not that the washer fluid gets too far, I need to find a way to narrow the openings and increase pressure or something, otherwise the fluid doesn't get more than halfway up my windshield unless i'm on the freeway doing 70.
I don't have a diagram tho. sorry.

Re: Wiper Fluid/Washer Questions

Can't you adjust the washer nozzles to make the fluid go up higher on the windshield?

Re: Wiper Fluid/Washer Questions

LMC catalog sometimes has diagrams for us to buy specific parts from. These can be helpful to all parts of our rebuild.

Question Re: Wiper Fluid/Washer Questions

I checked the basic functions but I am thinking that maybe the pump is out. I just need to see a diagram to determine if it is located under the grill where the wiper control rod sits.

Thumbs up Re: Wiper Fluid/Washer Questions

The wiper motor and pump are under the dash. The only thing out under the cowl is the moving arms that work the wiper blades.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.
