another newbi question.

how do i find out what type of truck i have. no emblems like c10, apache, i know it is a 1/2ton but thats it.

thanks for the info, is there a way to tell what emblems were on it like the custome cab or v8.

no way to tell if it was a custom cab or v8, unless you find the factory build sheet behind the seat.

your vin will tell you wheel base, and type (not that it was a step or fleet though), and 1/2, or 3/4 ton

if you sand the rear roof pillars down to bare metal, you should beable to see if it once had custom trim, and was welded up.
