Another new guy checking in...

Hi. I'm a veteran of car/truck forums but new to the 67-72 forums. My current truck, a 67 SWB Fleetside, is the most recent in a long line of GM Trucks I've built and/or owned:

78 LWB GMC (my first project over 25 years ago)
84 Chevy Short Wide (should've never sold it!)
67 SWB Stepside (Small window, lowered, built 350)
03 Trailblazer (just gave it to my Daughter)
03 Silverado 2500 HD (current daily driver)

Recently threw in the towel on a very intensive (and expensive) 77 Camaro project. Three cross country transfers in two years put a fork in this project. The wife and I wanted back in a drivable project and I think we've got a great starter here...but already have a long "To do" list! Look forward to discussion, advice, opinions, etc.

Re: Another new guy checking in...

Thank you all. The sight has already been very helpful. Haven't had the truck long...learning more every time crawl under it or turn a wrench on her.

A Mechanic out of Arizona did the motor swap and a local guy applied the current paint job. I'm having a blast driving her and have ordered some classic style wheels and a front & rear suspension kit to replace the current set up. I'll share photo's when the new wheels are on!
