Your opinions are needed on the following please,

Last august i posted a want ad on the Uk NSRA forum for a T5 gearbox,

Sounds good, ? will this have a mechanical speedo drive or an electric speedo drive as i have Dolphin guages that are mechanical,
My engine No is 970010 (front) V0225cnv (rear)
I think its a 350ci from a 1970 caprice.

Darron i believe it is a ELECTRIC speedo... BUT can be changed to mechanical drive easy swap
your block is OLD SCHOOL 010 block excellent core to start a rebuild..
Can connect you to Chris with trans... he ONLY wants what hes got into it 445 landed UK is a steel... these trans are easy 2X stronger then any stock T-5 BW trans.. that BLOW 2nd gear with often with some HP & torque ...

I picked up the gearbox and have only untill now noticed that the gearbox is not as i was sold, I turns out to be a New venture 3500, I have contacted Daryl at fastco and here is my reply.

Go ahead a blame others for your mistakes.... it's a lot easer ...you did not check..trans for your application before your bought it & now 6 months after you bought trans is now not what you want to use ............... fine sell it and move on....
