1972 C10 Brakes

Hey Guys,

Replacing the steel lines on the rear axle along with all the drum brake components The fittings that go to the wheel cylinders are 3/8 but the fitting that connects to the junction of the new brake hose from the frame is not but appears to be 7/16 Is this correct or just a typical issue with all these Chinese replacement parts from NAPA? Thanks.

Re: 1972 C10 Brakes

I have run into this before and I installed fittings that reduced them down to the right size. Most parts places will have the brake line reducers.

You can order replacement lines from Rightstuff detailing or LMC truck.
