7 Hours till pick up
It has been 2 years 6 months and 17 days since the 71 GMC and the 67 Chevy went into paint jail to merge into one vehicle. I get to pick her up and drive her home today under her own power. Man I am getting excited didn't sleep worth a dang last night kind of like a kid on Christmas Eve now all I have to do is make it until 4 pm. Got real lucky and the weather held up and we did not get the large amounts of snow we were to get went elsewhere.

Sorry had to go out and drink after the fun time of trying to get my truck. The hand off went well between the body guy and the alignment shop and I went to the body guy to go over his instructions to break in the new engine then went to pick her up from getting the alignment. Here is where the fun begins. I enter the shop let them know I am there to pick up my truck and the guy behind the counter says ok. I then ask if there were any problems and he says nope. There is a moment of silence and I ask can I pick her up and he says nope not done. I'm like WHAT??? He then tells me that he wasn't in to big of a hurry today and put it off until Monday. Thank god my brother was with me because at this point I am seeing red and wanting to kill this guy. He knew from the conversations that the truck was going to be brought to him today and I wanted it done that day. Now it is 5 pm the truck is locked in his shop and I can't even get a sneak peek at it since it went through the final detail. So I quess he will get to it sometime hopefully Monday!!!! I need another drink.

Oh dude, i would have thrown a fit! that kinda stuff causes me to go insane bc the guy was just too lazy to do his job! sorry you have to wait all weekend thinking about it!
