Re: 68 camaro headers on my 66 stepside

When I installed long tube headers on my 64 with a 3spd I had trouble with the clutch linkage not fitting. I had to rotate the z-bar back(towards the front of the truck) a ways to clear the last primary and make a new rod from the pedal down to the z-bar. if you go this way just remember to leave adjustment in the rod to fine tune your pedal to clutch travel. When you change the rotation of the z-bar it changes how much it pushes on the clutch fork. If not done correctly you end either with short pedal travel and possible slipping clutch or not enough travel to disengage the clutch completely.
