Thanks man. I can build it. Just limited on time! It will be better if i build it anyhow, then it will be mine ya know. Got a good friend "big willie" and I'll help get his name out there. Hopefully we can get it to sema 2014

Re: Pops 72 cheyenne dropmember build

Sema is not tough to get to but you better get moving depending on how radical you get it will take time. If you have to do metal, body and paint it will take all of a year. I am sorry you did not get the black truck. The down side is it will cost you a lot more then what it would have cost you to buy the black truck. Look forward to the build thread

Re: Pops 72 cheyenne dropmember build

Got to see this truck in person this past weekend at GG's at TMS. I think the info tag said it was a guy in Ok that has it now.

Eric you did a great job on this one. Glad I got to look over at least one of your creations!

A guy out of the OKC metro has it. The last I talked to him, he was planning an LS swap but I'm not sure if he finished it yet or not.

Re: Pops 72 cheyenne dropmember build

I noticed the guy showing it doesn't have it laid out. I hope he didn't change something. This truck was truely a work of art when it left Eric's hands.

That was right after he drove in and parked. We swarmed the truck to get a look at it before he even had a chance to wipe it down. It was laid out later on when I passed by.

Only thing different on the truck is the air cleaner and the steering wheel. I changed them to the ones you see in the pictures right before I sold it

Re: Pops 72 cheyenne dropmember build

I am the guy (Tim) that bought the truck. I live 75 NNW of OKC. I believe I am the 3rd owner since Eric sold it. The truck did win the "Chevy Truck Pick" at GG in Ft Worth. . I haven't made any changes to the truck yet, but I will be....
1.LS3/6L90 sitting in shop
-few more dress up clean up things to acquire to start swap....front drive system, custom harness etc

2.67 buddy buckets, red/plaid waiting to get recovered

3.just received Dakota Digital new solid Black w/white VHX gauges(thanks Kyle)

4. relocate airpod and new flat bed wood floor....to make room for rear efi Boyd tank and storage

Sounds like some really cool plans for the truck. Glad to see it went to a good home. I love this truck. Hopefully, you will continue the build here or make a new one with recent pictures.
