Fixed the wood floor today

I decided I wasnt putting wood back in the stepside bed. I wanted something different, think I got it. I still have to cut the door for my fuel filler and bolt it in. Ignore my students cheezing it up

Supprisingly it was about half what the wood floor kits would have cost. Thanks for the compliments guys. It's a shame the truck isn't as nice as the floor. I'll keep working on it.

Great looking job, you are truly talented. That floor should hold up for many years.

The sides are stitch welded so any water will run right under. Of course if it didnt, that would be a cool hot tub.

I can take some if you would like. I friend of mine does custom exhaust work basically as a hobby. He ran his own shop for years. Its nothing fancy, 2.5" true dual off the factory ram horms and of course Flowmasters. He put some big stainless slash cut 4" tips on it too.

Thanks, I just want to get an idea of the 4WD routing with a rear tank... where did you drop the tips?

Re: Fixed the wood floor today

I went out an snapped a few pics before it got dark. I have a 2" body and 4" suspension lift. The pipes come straight out under the rear frame. They don't have to kick up, just offset to the side. I'll take some better ones on the lift next time and in better light. The truck is nasty, it has rained and snowed so much its not worth cleaning till everything dries up
