Hello all, I looking for a few opinions on a potential purchase. Up for sale is a 1968, C20. Let me know want you think a good price would be for it. It has an older 350 crate motor, tach, 3 gas tanks, some strange bucket seats. From what I can tell it is an 50th ann. addition. Thanks for the help.

Those seats and tach is probally around 1000 idk bout the rest though I'd guess around 3000-3500

Well its got AC, buddy buckets, PB, 50th, I'd buy if the price is right and rust isn't too bad. Nice truck. I've heard AC isn't too common in the 68's. Looks like the heater has been disconnected, theres some loose hoses there.

Those "strange bucket seats" are generally referred to as "buddy bucket seats". They are the factory installed bucket seats for our trucks and if in decent shape, as those appear to be, are worth a small fortune. Quite the coveted item.

Very nice looking truck from what we can see but I wouldn't dare hazard a guess as to it's monetary value.

It appears to be a 50th. $1800 would be a good buy. Does it run and drive good? Body clean? You could get half your money back by selling the seats and tach dash. (if you had to)

The seller says it starts up and runs good, but I've only heard it over the phone. Yet to make the 3 hour drive. It has some minor rust on the driver side door bottom and where you get into the truck cab. I'm pretty sure the heater core has also been removed. Overall, the truck probably needs some work, but it seems to have a few nice options and it might be worth it if I can get it for the right price.

I'm diggin everything about it even though it is a 3/4 ton (and yes I drive one). Can't see what shape the body is in but 1. Looks to be a 50th, 2. It's a 68 (67-68 best looking years IMHO) 3. Factory AC and 4 or course..those buckets!! Just dying for an altitude adjustment and roll that thing! Lets say you need to do a lil work on her to get it right and have top put some money in her, I think you could have a lot of fun for under 5k. Just my 2 coppers. Hope that helps.

Technically- they didn't. The CST seat was supplied by an outside manufacturer who also made the air cushioned seats for big trucks. I used to have a brochure from the outside company that also supplied Doge with the same seats.

Yeah, I agree, 1800 is too low an offer unless it has serious issues and his 3000 is out of line. You never know until you check it over and drive it. If in great shape and runs good, 3000 is definitely not out of line in my opinion but then again there are way more trucks in cali than in MN. I prefer 3/4 ton but I'm of the minority. Make sure you check the problem rust areas and bring a magnet to check for bondo if repainted.
