63 grille support assembly

Ok Guys, i finally got an original 63 grille and loving it. But Now i have a question regarding the grille support assembly, (The PO hacked up the originals to accommodate a reproduction grille) so the question is which of the years will work the 60-61 or 64-66? any advice is welcomed, Thanks for all the help in advance.

Re: 63 grille support assembly

I'm pretty sure they're all the same. I've put a 1960 grille on a 1965. Both half tons.

Re: 63 grille support assembly

I appreciate the help 65 stepside, I guess the reason i ask is because I have a set off a 64 and they don't match up to the grille. Its the two black brackets that attach the grille and headlights to the actual grille support on the truck. Unless I am doing something completely wrong. Thanks again

Re: 63 grille support assembly

If I remember correctly the grill supports for Chevrolet are 1960-62 then 1963 and finally 1964-66. The difference is the location of the grill mounting holes.

Bingo! There is also a separate 62 support. That's why you often see the grill supports with many different holes drilled into them by previous owners.
