Thank-you!! I do too! The Fleetside seems to fill that (hot rod) category! Here's an interesting note: The guys love the patina Fleet and the girls like the painted stepside. LOL

Well, it is winter, and we have had the wettest January since 1909 when records were begun.

Today Nicola and I decided to take the truck out for a decent run as we both have a bit of cabin fever, and deliver mate Martin the latest copy of Classic American (we subscribe to different mags and swop after reading them)

So we made a few stops at Chatham Dockyard where we were chased away by security........

Then off to the yacht basin to get a few pics.

I have been looking for a decent photo of the truck to enlarge to about 1200mm X 1500mm for my study, to replace the Super Hero wall I have there at the moment.

Not sure if any of the pics I ended up keeping really make the grade. I may have to look for a better setting at some point.

So please give your opinions too.

So there went another weekend.

Just found you folks.

Me and My 65 GMC have been together for ever. The paint is over 20 years old and the friggen rot came back in all the suspect places even though Welded in new quarters and rockers back then.

Factory PowerGlide and power steering. Tossed the V 6 and have put 3 different SBC's in it. The latest is an all iron Dart program. 427 C.I with a full roller valve train and roller cam. I am running an Art Carr T400 and replaced the Dana 44 with a Dana 60.

Drop is accomplished with Bell tech spindles and lower A-arms with late model calipers. 17" Americans and Good Year Eagles. The rear I just re-arched the leafs. (eat your heart out Chevy boys)

I love all of the updates, and the sealed tailgate is awesome! Again, nice work.
