The gold blazer ended up having more rust in it than I had bargined for so I found another blazer striped down for cheep. It wasent perfict by any streach but was better than the gold one and it came with a single wall top. I was also able to rob some sheet metal from the beast before scraping it. The biggest part was the windsheild header. I dont think it had ever had the tpo removed and was rust free which was great because about every 3" you could poke your finger into the header of the new blazer.

The next steps where to cut out the rust and weld in new sheet metal. While I was in highschool I took a year of welding. I realy lucked out here because half way through the year my teacher let me bring the body to school and work on it durring class some days and stay after to work on it too. Through out this time I replaced both floor pans, rockers inner and outer front anrd rear pillars rear quarter pannels, windsheild frame and one rear bed cornner.
