Don't worry. I've already planned to do a video. How do you post one on here? Youtube then post a link?

Thanks Rick! Unfortunately I've already got it all painted now 68tt! Hopefully It'll stick for a while anyway. At least my manifold was prepped and painted right though.

Re: Slick Copper's Build Thread

Well, got the exhaust done! And boy does it sound awesome! Definately a unique sound. Like a gas version of a diesel engine! The wife and I went cruising around in it a little bit today went and visited some family. Sorry guys took pics, just have to make you wait on 'em!

Re: Slick Copper's Build Thread

Still working on the video guys be patient! Rain over this weekend put a "damper" on things.
Also please be on the lookout for a spare tire carrier for me (the kind that goes under the bed). Need one bad, I'll buy it, or trade something I have in spare parts for one! Let me know!!

Re: Slick Copper's Build Thread

Took ole Copper down to a car show Saturday! Had a great time. Didn't win, but got a door prize and made some new friends and memories.
Updates if I hadn't mentioned them:
-Put a roll in bed liner in the truck, it turned out great. I used Duplicolor Bed Armor kit.
-Temporarily fixed the pulsing in my lights, need to convert to a new internally regulated alternator.
-Got an oil change in the truck at the Penzoil station, and had them put Nitrogen in the tires
-Polished all the chrome

Don't worry we took pics at the show! There were some nice trucks of ours there!

Guess I's too slow! The kit comes with a scuffing pad, but I used my drill and wire wheel brush first. Just take the time to prep it good, wipe down with some degreaser, and take your time. I wore gloves, safety glasses and coveralls, because this stuff splatters, but this is what gives it that nice even look. And mask it off real good. I got a lot of compliments and questions at the show. A lot of them thought it was a spray in pro job. Of course I can only vouch for the Duplicolor kit, I don't know about the others. Oh, and it says too put the second coat on in 1 hour, but I was worried, and gave it 24 hours and put on the second coat. Worked great! Good luck!

I'm in central/eastern KY. If you look at the map or know where Lexington is, I'm two counties to the right in Mount Sterling/Montgomery County! Yeah, starting to get some tranny trouble (whining, grinding sound but it pulls fine don't know what exactly it is) so not wanting to go too awful far with it right now. I wish we could get everyone on this site together sometime, boy would that be awesome! Think about how many trucks that'd be! Feel free to come up this way sometime!

Re: Slick Copper's Build Thread

Well haven't done much to Copper lately, but progress in the near future! Did drive him down to Kroger and back today. I got the hitch sold, and with that got a spare tire carrier off Ebay, a glove box light from here, and just got a great deal on here for a swaybar, gas pedal trim, and 67 steering wheel! Going to take the worst steering wheel and cut it down to 15" to get more leg room, and keep the original style. I'll take pics of stuff when it comes in! Very excited!

Re: Slick Copper's Build Thread

Thanks!
I also gots a spare tire carrier in, I'll post some before after pics. Also waiting on some parts I ordered off the board here. A sway bar, original steering wheel (going to cut down to 15"), and gas pedal trim. Now I'm gonna need a good brake pedal pad and trim! It NEVER ends!
