fair enough, that makes sense. i was just curious since you said you were a machinist, i figured it might be something you could do on a lunch break or something every few years. good looking setup, get any further with it? any wheel fitment checks yet?

i've been really busy at work haven't had much spare time to work on it. both brackets are done just have to get them on and lines taken care of. wheels should be here next week. i want to have it finished before christmas.

So the before christmas thing didn't happen but going to try to have it done by beginning of next week. i will post some more pics.

Any updates to this thread? Looking in to something of the same. Six lug disc, low buck retro. Just out of curiosity, how do the '99 and up chevy/gmc 2wd six lug rotors compare to any of the others?

its done. I've drove it some haven't had any problems stops much better. I haven't posted any more cause didn't seem to be much interest. the 99 and up rotors would have to have the hub hole opened up to fit. They have less offset than the toyota rotors which would make fabbing the caliper bracket easier actually. I just wanted off the shelf stuffs the only reason i didn't use them and chose the toyota stuff.
