69/70 Pics Please

I am looking for pictures of all those rides still proudly wearing the 69/70 front clip they came with. It seems like most switch them for the 67-68 or 71-72 clip and it gets hard to find pics. I am planning on leaving the 69-70 clip for my current build and was hoping to see pics of yours. Thanks guys!

Re: 69/70 Pics Please

Heres my 69. Was thinking about switching the grill to the 71-72 when i first bought it but this grew on me. My father had a 71 and my grandpa a 72 so i wanted one like that but my 69 started to grow on me then decided i wanted to keep it because its what makes my truck the year it isif i ever changed it out itd be the 71-72 but i dont see that happening soon. And i love where the turning signals are and also running lights if you want them on.

Re: 69/70 Pics Please

I could not imagine swapping out the best looking front end to ever grace a truck! I'd take the 69/70 over the 71/72 any day. (and I own both)

Re: 69/70 Pics Please

Here's a pic I took just recently after a wash. The grill has a few dings in it.

And here's the replacement NOS grill that's going into it. After I get it all polished up.

I went the other way. My truck came to me with a 71-72 grill. I like the 69-70 better so I put one on.

So I was going to ask you, 70cst, is your truck finally done? Have you been cruising around in it lately?

It's 90% done. I need to switch out the front wheels and tires and it still needs some mechanical work. Brakes and Engine. I have driven itn some but it has been in the garage since winter.

I like the 69/70 grill a lot better than the 71/72. Here is a picture of my son's truck with his grandson setting on it.
