Will a 1987 suburban front suspension swap to a 1967 3/4 ton GMC
I just bought a 1967 GMC 3/4 ton. It has manual steering, drums all the way around and no power brakes. I'm wanting to switch out the drums and go wi th disc all the way around and eventually drop it. I want to change out the steering to make it power steering. There is a guy parting out his 1987 suburban with Big JL8 disc brakes. I'm am new to this and seemed really confused on what vehicles I can used parts off of without breaking the bank. Can someone please give me some advice.

theirs a sticky on top of the 67-72 chevy trucks forum. You can swap it out you can change the spindles and ball joints or any other ccombo up to swapping out the complete crossmemer. The 67 frame doesn't have the dimple for power steering box clearance but that's easy to fix.
welcome to the board from springfied mo. We better see you at the all truck nationals in september!
