Re: New to board...65 Custom

Ok gentleman (and ladies), here's some more. It's been an North East truck (NJ and Philly) it's entire life, as per the protecto plate and the stack of insurance cards dating back to the mid-seventies. 1 owner (till I got it). It's a 283, 3spd on column, and a posi. It's got an Edelbrock Torker intake with a Holley and Hooker headers that were installed in the early 70's judging by the paperwork in the glovebox. The wheels are American Racing 15x7, but not sure of the model #. That gigantic thing hanging from the bottom of the dash is a Realistic am/fm cassette player that works great! Here's some more pix for those that requested. Thanks again for the comps and kind welcome from everyone.

Great truck, I looked it over with a fine tooth comb when I was shopping and know just how nice it is, congrats, I think you bought yourself a great little truck. And welcome to the forum, you'll find us all very friendly and everyone very helpful! Some really smart folks (i.e. not me) hangin out on here.
Thanks man, I may have done you a favor by buying it. Black Tie was not that easy to deal with and didn't have their sh*t together as far as the title was concerned. If the truck wasn't as nice as it is, I would have told them to stick it. But, after several trips back and forth between Black Tie and DMV, all is well now.

Welcome to the board Ray!

My 65 is almost identical to yours. My truck was painted the original Fawn color as well, 3 on the tree. I am at about 102k original miles.
