1961 Coilover conversion

Hey guys,
I got done TIG welding the whole frame on my truck and i just ordered a narrowed fabricated 9 inch rear end from Chris Alston's chassisworks. I'm converting the rear over to a coil over rear end and I needed to see if you guys knew how much the rear of these trucks weigh so i can order the right pound springs for the coilovers. Thanks!

Sounds like a neat build.... We need pictures!

As for rear weight... Open this link and select, "Chevrolet trucks", then select your year of truck. It then downloads a pdf with all the specifications for your truck, inluding truck weight at the front and rear axles.

Happy Trails....
