Okay since you asked here is my driver. I really enjoy this one. It's 1 of 1500 GTI 337's. It really dirty in the pic. Most likely going to sell it and get a cheap car so I can continue to finance my addiction.

This is what my Jimmy looked like early last summer. I like N2TRUX have a seemingly never ending project here. When this pic was taken I had just gotten back from a shop where it collected dust for fourteen months. Plus I had to wait to even get it into this shop. I was so disgusted I told them sell it or I'm comeing to get it. Once I got it home I remembered how much I liked it.

This is the start of the frame. It was a Morrison front clip with extra long rails. The air bag mounts have already been cut of in the pic. They wouldn't make one for shockwaves so we did.

Wow!

I'm impressed. It looks like you what you are getting done is awesome. I love the 69-72 Blazers. That's what I wanted before I bought my 82, but couldn't find anything worth having. It looks like you started with a nice one.

Don't give up! I have finally found a shop that will get mine done in a decent amount of time. As soon as I get the shop where it's at to finish the core support, it's going to Stoked out Specialties in Rockwall.

They just finished up a quickie project for me. After seeing the quality of their work, and the timely manner they finished this other truck in, I really feel like I have found what I am looking for....

Is that an early sixties Impala cluster laying in your floorboard...

I have posted most all this on the 67-72 side over the last year. I do appreciate the feedback though. I had a good pick to show how much lower it is but I can't find it. It wasn't designed to "lay frame" but it gets pretty low. The rocker are a couple of inches off the ground. There is something about planting a vehicle on the ground that just doesn't look right to me. I think it is because you loose the the differentation between it and the ground. It has room for an easy body drop by just changing the body mounts though.

Brad2, I couldn't agree more. I just don't care for the rockers to be planted on the ground . . .... even @ shows. Now, give me an extremely low truck that can drive @ speed . . .... slammed & I need heart meds . . .....

how do you put your fenders on with the cowl welded to the door do you have to put them on with the doors off or what . but its still bad ass blazer and a bad ass mod to blend the cowl to the pillars

The cowl is welded to the windshield frame. Haveing the doors off would help. One of the bolts is still fairly accesible. One the inside a holesaw was used to cut a access hole. A nut is welded on the fender. So you do one from inside and one outside.
