From the ad :

"THESE BRACKETS WILL ONLY FIT ENGINES WITH THE INTEGRATED HEAD"

What year is you engine? Because these brackets will not fit the old engines that came in our trucks.

You can tell by looking at it. If the intake manifold and head are cast as one unit its intergrated. if you are able to unbolt the intake from the head it is not.

Re: power steering pump/bracket l6

Does anybody know why can't I start a new thread? My question is about my single barrel carbarnator. I am not hearing gasoline squirt into the manifold. Anybody know how to fix that. I checked the inline and in carb. filter and all is clear. electrical is OK.

I put gasoline in the carb. and it wants to start.

Check the accelerator pump diapharm. Its in the float bowl. You can still get rebuild kits for those carbs. They only cost about 7 bucks. Checkers/autozone

Re: power steering pump/bracket l6

I had the same problem with my carb and daverod is right it was the pump as well. Check and make sure they packed a new pump in the rebuild kit before you drive all the way home. Don't ask how I know.
