Troylv

Does anybody out there know this member. I purchased parts from him and sent money back around the first of June. He was having trouble getting the parts shipped. That I can understand and I was being patient. and we were keeping in good contact through email. But now it has been 3 weeks since I have heard anything from him, and I have sent numerous emails since then. Sorry just venting. And looking for any help I can get from members in Las Vegas or area.

I don't think that he scammed you, he was going to sell me a windshield frame but communication dropped off on his end. If he was out to scam he would have at least taken my money before he disapeared.

Oh yeah, and when I was looking for hardtop brackets he was going to throw them in free of charge. I hope he's okay cause people sometimes get hurt, die, or get arrested. The below is from a PM he sent me May 19th. (not the best speller)

"if you want to through in some for the brackets thats ok, but not necessary. this is stuff i would have to trash if someone doesn't us it. maybe someday you will have what i need for a good price. it is nice to know there are some good guys out there. looks like everyone on the board is good people who can be trusted. being from oklahoma i was raised that a deal is sealed on a handshake and your word. i won't be geting rich from the sale of parts off yhe 72, but it will help all doing them on a budget."

72 blazer dude just sent you an e mail. then find this on the board. we'll i'll be shipping your stuf next week. for any one who gives a r-ts a$$ i lost my job in april. therefore went into buisiness on my own. first job was a bear, but had to get it done and billed. ok now its done now i have time to get this stuff taken care of. sorry guys the boat payment comes first. buy the way for the benifit of everyone why don't you tell them how i scd you on the price. if you can find a tank with a new sending unit in it for $50.00 and freight back there let me know and i'll even send your money back to you. hugh is correct i can be found at troylv@excite.com or troyl@cox.net ( cox changed it) don't worry i won't do anyone bad i'll just trash the last parts left from the 72.

I was just wondering about the vin plate and title. I've not heard from you about it in a while, troylv. sorry to hear about your job, but if you promise something to someone, and cannot follow through, then please let them know. i'm not trying to fuss or lecture, i'm just wanting to get my parts that i sent my money for.
