So Long Guys/Gals

Sold the truck tonight. $5k cash. Hate to see her go after 10 years. Lots of memories, country roads and trips to Home Depot. Nice retired gentleman bought her tonight. Brought his 4 year old grandson with him. Told the grandson the trucks name was Bananna Boat. Thats what my kids called it growing up. Thanks for all the tips and info, but time goes on. Hope it's as good for him as it was for me.

Nice truck, that would be a hard one to sell if it were me. Stick around, you're still welcome here.

Re: So Long Guys/Gals

love that paint scheme, my friends dad had one just like it when we were kids. Wanted to paint my crewcab safety yellow with white, but I chickened out. Plus 4 doors and jambs are a lot of extra work.
Sounds like it went to a good home. Lot better outcome than running it into the ground and scrapping it. Been there a few times.
My kids had a name for the lifted dually I just sold after 10 years, they called it the Big Bad Supertruck. New owners kids just call it the monster truck.

Just because you sold your square doesn't mean that you're no longer part of this Forum. Your contributions and expertise are just as vital as everyone else's.

From one Banana Boat to another. Bought mine new in Jan of 1985, will never part with it. Funny how they all get the same name.
