EBAY truck-What do you think about it?

Found this truck on EBAY. Gorgeous truck but is it work it?

Numbers matching, but the SPID sure is missing a lot of the stuff he added.

If this is worth $28k like this what do you think it would sell for if it was truly had the options it currently has on it?

Very nice truck. He is a dealer, so expect to pay $$$ for it. Lots of repop parts on it (woodgrain trim, etc) but looks great.

The Spid doesn't look original to me. Compare the font in the serial number part to an original and it doesn't look the same.

A lot of them look like that. I am pretty sure the SPID is original. If replaced he most surely would have all the options added.

I would call if you are interested. They will take alot less than what they are asking on EBay. The seller I got one from on Ebay, took 7000.00 less than his asking price.

Re: EBAY truck-What do you think about it?

Looks well done. I agree that the SPID looks original. The truck was VERY plain-Jane. Without being on the SPID, would the original drive-train have been a 307 with 3-on-the-tree? I would ask to see a photo of the Gross Weight/VIN tag out of suspicion that the tag was moved from a plain non-A/C cab w/manual transmission pedals to a higher optioned cab. I'm not willing to pay big bucks for a truck with mixed/moved major components.

Re: EBAY truck-What do you think about it?

Nicely restored truck that looks to be a real shortbed with lots of value added options installed during the resto. He doesn't show vin but SPID with KE would be a 307. If it is the original 307, a quadrajet intake from a 350 has been added as they came with 2 barrel carbs, and obviously the cab has been changed. All and all, lots of attention to detail in adding the extras such as the factory AC. It's over $28,000 with 15 bids and the reserve not met. I better raise the insurance on my 70 SWB 4X4.

This I know from experience...if one does a frame-one will spend more than $28000 in most cases. It is a nice lookin truck.

Re: EBAY truck-What do you think about it?

The only reason I wouldn't pay 28K is I don't like the colour and it's not stock. Other than that it's a beauty and probably worth every penny.

Goog Looking truck!! Since they tried to clone a Cheyenne super, I wonder why they did not just put the SUPER emblems on it.

Re: EBAY truck-What do you think about it?

It's very very nice. Personally,I wouldn't buy a high dollar truck from someone who knows little about them. My first hint is in the title saying "1500".
