Wood Grain Color Question
Anyone know what color is the closest to the iterior color of a woodgrain glovebox or door panels? I was thinking of just buying that color contact paper to recover my wood grain door inserts. Anyone ever do this?

Re: Wood Grain Color Question
If you are looking to replicate your wood grain, you can check with local sign shop suppliers for woodgrain vinyl in small quantities. Also search for discissions here on the board..
If it's just a general color, go to your local paint store and have them do some color scans of what you would like...bring samples. Generally free. Good luck on your quest. Last edited by ETsC10; 04-13-2011 at 03:15 AM. |

Re: Wood Grain Color Question
Best I can suggest is take a part with you and match it up. You really need to put both together to match. There is no specified color. I consider it a walnut woodgrain,as far as real wood goes.

good luck finding the original grain we've been looking for something to match for a long time.If the original grain style is not important then their are many options. Try 3m
