New guy with 59 apache

Hi ya'll , I'm new to this forum. I was told about it by TJ (a memeber on here). I'm hhere to tell you that he did a outstanding job on his 58. WE met at the Navy auto hobby shop on North Island.
THANKS FOR THE BUMPER TJ!!!!

I just bought a 59 fleetside long bed. I've wanted one since I got out of the Army in 75.
Needs a bit of love but it's a runner.
350, stromburg 4 speed, 72 jimmy 12 bolt posi rear end.
Plans are to get it looking very close to stock witha few semi hidden modifications.
I see I have a lot to learn and do to get my truck where it's a daily driver, but I'm looking forward to the ride.

Here's a pic of the day I got it home (last weekend)

PS: When I signed up to the forum I typoed my user name. Please ignore the double ff
My Name is Fredo, San Diego CA
