Vent Window Delete

Wondering if anyone would recommend replacing the vent window in my 67 with a one piece side window.

Pics appreciated.

Thanks
David

Re: Vent Window Delete

first off...
never done it, nor interested in doing it.
I have heard a lot of people on here complain of the windows moving around a lot when rolled down, but not all the way down. Comments like "they are great when all the way up or down, but no where inbetween".

Re: Vent Window Delete

I did mine back in 1991.
I worked at a glass shop and we used lamenated glass. The electric kit was a generic fit all. The only problem I have is the motors are tired and need replaced.
I don't know how well the new one piece kits work, but maybe someone will chime in about them.

Re: Vent Window Delete

some don't like them, but vent windows is part of the appeal of these trucks, especially if you don't have AC.
