Couple central Ohio 1 Tons for sale...

First one I recognized from Craigslist so I stopped and looked it over:

http://columbus.craigslist.org/cto/2374566428.html

HUGE dump bed. Cab is sorta beat up but looks relatively solid...good corners and mostly good rockers. Drivers door jamb is bent up between fender and door. Missing door panels inside. Definitely a work truck, but could be worse and the price seems fair for what it is. Sign said $3K, but ad is down to $2500. Supposedly everything works.

Then from there I went to pick up some stuff for work from a supplier and stumbled across this bad boy. While I was taking pictures the owner came out and told me it was for sale for $8000. The engine is a caddy 472 I think he said, possible a 425...dont remember now. Nice clean truck. Said it had a Gear Vendors overdrive on it.

I know the guy who owns the orange one. It has a caddy 429 engine, (this is pre 500/472/425) hooked to a TH400 with a gear vendors, and a 14 bolt with a 3.73 if memory serves. It's a pretty cool rig, awesome 'ole guy who owns it. He's always buying and selling cars/trucks. Looks like he's replaced the seat since I saw him last (been about a year).

I never remember the details. I knew it was Caddy. He rattled off several cars he either has or is working on. One of the other guys that works there is a top notch pinstriper (sign shop), and they've known each other for 50 years.

he has an awesome 56 pontiac wagon, big block full air ride, lots of cool old stuff... he has an old traditional hot rod, a lowered magnum man wagon... all kinds of neat stuff.
