sierra wont drive!

01 sierra 4.8 ........ i can smash the accelerator all the way dwn and it creeps even jerks a little leading me to believe that it could be fuel related? i checked the fuel filter and it seems to let air pass with no restriction .(i put it to my lips and blew lol) , but the darn thing rattles when i shake it. is this normal? what should i check next???? is there a way to test fuel pump? what else could it be??

Re: sierra wont drive!

i got it going again! apparently the rattle i heard inside the filter was the culprit.
i bought another fuel filter installed it and shes running like new!
never knew a fuel filter could break off in the inside
