I have a couple of the RH mirrors and looking for a LH to make a complete set...or will trade RH for LH if wanted. Has to be NOS and perfect condition (some NOS has pits/defects from shelf wear)

Over the years I have collected several sets and individual NOS sport mirrors. Have yet to see a perfect set. Seems they all have a little shelf wear. I'll look at my stock tomorrow and see what I have.

Do you have pictures of your RH mirror and GM box to trade? I'm sure I have a perfect LH mirror in the original GM box on the shelf if you need a mate. On another post there was references to date codes? I don't quite understand where people think that mirror code is a date code? I have checked some of my oldest NOS mirrors and the oldest are 1974 date coded boxes which most of the pre 1999 boxes are box print dated and that mirror etching code can be the same whether it is manufactured and boxed in 1974 or 1997. I could believe it was a production shift or even a plant code for the glass but I question the product need for a year code for a production piece. Let me know. Thanks

I have read that the etching does indicate a date code but wondered how you could tell 77 from 87....
