Re: Stuck in 4 wheel drive??

You may have the same issue that I'm currently dealing with. Is your truck actually in 4wd still or is the light just on?

I just bought a new encoder motor sensor, but have yet to install it yet.

Re: Stuck in 4 wheel drive??

What's bmp? Yes it was stuck in 4 wheel drive. I went out the next day and disconnected the battery let it sit for a few minutes then hooked it back up and it reset the system and took it out of 4 wheel drive. It also started to run better. The check engine light was still on so I took it to auto zone to have them plug into system to see why the light was on. They said it had a misfire in cylinder #2. About 2 hours later check engine light went off and it's been running good ever since. Weird....
