Looks like the perfect camping rig and seems to be in very good shape.
Thanks for sharing!

Thumbs up Re: 1972 Sierra Grande W/Alaskan CL North Hollywood, CA

Very nice. Not too far away from me either. It has a 133" wheelbase (Longhorn frame) The interior is immaculate. 402 big block (not 420, as the ad states ) A/C looks complete and hooked up, straight and relatively rust free body I would imagine. It has early-mid eighties plates, so it is highly likely it has been in continuous ownership and registration, meaning it drives. The camper is very cool, and it has OEM bumper guards. I hope someone here buys it.

I like everything about it. It's 10x awesome. The only thing that would make it etter would be if it had the Alaskan built for a Longhorn/GMC Custom Camper.

I like.
Isn't it odd to not have woodgrain on the gauges and glovebox door of a grande?

it's probably a sierra-i've seen GMC's that were "only" sierra models but say "sierra grande equip" on the SPID. my uncle used to have a 72 GMC 2500 "sierra" that was labeled that way.

This thing is cool! If I was looking for another toy I'd buy it up in a second.
