Feel OCD when getting in my truck

Every time I get in my truck it seem I go through the same routine. 1. Look underneath it 2. Push down the hood on the drivers side 3. Pump the gas pedal three times. 4. Hold the gear selector up and turn the key. 5. Drive and enjoy. Am I the only one who has this mental checklist?

Re: Feel OCD when getting in my truck

I've owned my truck for five weeks now. It was a bucket when I bought it and now that I've done a bunch of work to it, its a pail. As I go along fixing things I find myself checking and rechecking things I've already fixed. Do your routine and enjoy it. Just by sharing, you are one step closer to getting past it. You know your truck.

Re: Feel OCD when getting in my truck

everyday whether I work on mine or not I walk into the garage and around the chassis and imagine where I'm headed with it, sometimes it's enough to get me working on it others it's not I do remember when it ran though, 3 pumps is the magic number from 49-87 hahaha
