Are front and rear bumpers interchangeable ?

I've heard this but can't verify anyone do this on our trucks? It would make looking for a rear bumper easier for me. Thanks Tim

It might be easier if they were. But no. Doubtful it would bolt up but even if it did it would look really strange.

no, the front has a V shape and the rear is straight.

Re: Are front and rear bumpers interchangeable ?

Hmmm must have been the 60's trucks that were interchangeable. I know that some generation of chevy it was.

The '60-66's looked similar, but I never imagined that they were interchangeable. It would be a tough putt to think that they could. I'm thinking that I would have heard it before now, if it was true.

I can't imagine that any front and rear bumpers were interchangeable unless you went back to the Twenties and Thirties.

Re: Are front and rear bumpers interchangeable ?

It would have to be earlier than 1948, the front bumper from a 48-55 truck is different than the rear. They might bolt on but they are different.
