SELLING EVERYTHING! 68 C-10 50th LWB (no bed rust) roller, parts, big stuff
Elizabethtown, PA --
The biggest stuff is gone or spoken for, still have some good stuff left The largest thing I'll ship is a fan shroud. If it will fit in a flat flat rate box shipping is either $6, $10 or $15 depending on the size box it will fit in... anything larger $20. hood $50, front bed panel $50, 26x9 Hoosier slicks on inexpensive 5-lug or 6-lug aluminum wheels ($150/pr) (I have all 4 wheels with center caps if interested) 1 California 67 Suburban frame that I started cutting down to a SWB truck.... RUST FREE trailing arms and rust free frame!!! Only 2 more cuts, and weld it back together for a SWB frame... $100 (mainly because of the cherry truck arms on it) (if you want trailing arms separated with new in the box bushings $125) One LFD's 71-72 cable fed throttle conversion kits $10 One BRAND NEW (but opened) Set of Zoom 4.56 gears for 12-bolt chevy truck $70 a few miscellaneous 12-bolt rears (one complete assembled/used rear for $40, one complete but dis-assembled for $25 -- neither of them posi) nice heater box $30, AC heater controls $20 (one lever broken and kind of repaired, see pics), fan shrouds (one 67-72 $20, one of unknown origin $20) right and left 68 front drum brake spindles $20 7-blade fan with HD thermal clutch $30, original fan (non-thermal) $10 68 C10 LWB 50th Anniversary truck with good title (yes, the hood comes with it) (Basically nothing is original to the truck anymore) SOLD! --- 71-72 front spindles brakes, new tie-rod ends, calipers, rotors and ball joints --- 71-72 3.73 posi rear (rebuilt with new bearings and seals, posi is tight!) --- 71-72 master/proporioning valve, stainless brake hoses and new brake lines --- recently new e-brake cables --- cab support and core support bushings replaced --- Rust FREE bed, tailgate is there and useable. --- 8" Rally's with 295/50/15's. --- 3-point seat belts (black) from http://www.retrobeltusa.com/ --- early 90's pickup seat (great comfy seat for a driver) --- high-hump tunnel I've put about 5000 miles (+/-) on the truck over the last 4 years since I did all the work and it's been parked in my garage since I've owned it. Besides the sheetmetal needing some TLC (a lot of tlc in some spots) The truck was a very solid, stable, clunk-free driver, just add your engine and trans. I've been driving it for about 6 years as-is. Asking $1000.00 for the roller. I feel it's a good first project truck, parts runner, etc. The expensive suspension, brake and rear-end work that you'd typically need to do to a barn or field find is already done. Re: SELLING EVERYTHING! 68 C-10 50th LWB (no bed rust) roller, parts, big stuff
The ONLY reason I'm gettin out of trucks is that I have 2 children and can't really daily drive it to work. I spend a lot of money and time on this truck to only get to drive it twice a week max (7-8 months a year).
Believe it or not, I bought a '99 BMW 540i for a song, and I'm dropping the LQ4/T56 into it 4-door family cruiser... PM me for my number. I am good Wednesday-Friday this week, then I am away for a week. Schedule opens up after that for 2 weekends, then I'm busy again... Darn summer schedules!!! You prob. don't want to part, but I'd be interested in the glove box emblem if you decide to.

Re: SELLING EVERYTHING! 68 C-10 50th LWB (no bed rust) roller, parts, big stuff
If the roof and cowl are solid I am definitely interested. I don't mind if it needs rocker and cab corner work. Thanks!

Is the orange bedhead what you took off? What's its condition, and if good is it for sale?

Re: SELLING EVERYTHING! 68 C-10 50th LWB (no bed rust) roller, parts, big stuff
I am going on a picture rampage now. I have 72 pics of the 68 roller. It is a good first project, or good driver with the solid suspension, brakes and bed (trailing arms are there, but could use some work too). Front sheet metal and cab are in at least fair shape (NOT A TRAIN WRECK!!!) please PM me your email address for pics of the rolling chassis, and I'll send you all 72.
I will be back in about a half hour with many more pics of the cab, cab floor, gas tank, etc..... Last edited by Jim_PA; 06-29-2011 at 10:37 PM. |

Roof is solid except the big hole that needs patched -- cowl is in decent shape, I have 2 cowl covers that are also in great shape.

I found that in a junkyard. Truck looked like it had a cap on it it's whole life, I had no use for it, but had to have it. Everything is for sale, but I don't know how on earth I'd ever get it to you.
