Re: Truck names?
Mine's The Red Menace even though he's not as red as he used to be. Especially since his bed is now a Vermillion Poly one that came off a '68 3/4 ton!

Re: Truck names?
This hasn't been updated for awhile so I figured I'd add my truck. I usually refer to it as "the 67" or "Ed" after the PO. Most things around here are named for the previous owner be it vehicles or land. That way everyone knows what/where you are talking about lol. And you never forget who to cuss. I'm surprised there is only two pages of this thread.

Re: Truck names?
The original owner of my 72 was named Clarence. So I've been bouncing back and forth between Clarence and Crush.
Care to vote?

Re: Truck names?
Naming your truck is like naming your child. No matter what you decide on....you will still end up calling it something else. Mine is definitely a "she". (no balls) However, we are in the market of engine work to perform the sex change.

Re: Truck names?
My Suburban has a number of names:
"The Suburban" & "The Burb" (obvious choices) "Daddy's Green Truck" (my 3yo daughter's name for it) "The Falcon", "The Wayward Son", "Second Chance", "Longshot", & "The Stellar Envoy" (All Millennium Falcon-related names, as my motto for the Burb is "She may not look like much, but she's got it where it counts.") Yeah, I'm a bit of a Star Wars nerd. haha

Re: Truck names?
Mine's Bernadette. The first week or so, driving her around, I had Wolowitz's 'Bernadette' song stuck in my head. And for those of you that don't watch 'The Big Bang Theory'...why don't you? It's a great show...lol.

I named mine "Johnny Cash" after one of his songs because it is made up of parts from so many different years.

Re: Truck names?
"Old Mustard". Got the truck when I was 16 for hauling lawn mowers around with. My brother and I initially called it other tough sounding names, but a girl down the street kept calling it "Old Mustard" and the name stuck.

Re: Truck names?
She is named cursed. Because when she decides to break something it is not in a normal fashion. 6 days after I bought it the crank snout broke while pulling in my driveway.after putting a new engine in and getting it running again she decided to have every other cylinder in firing order not work all at once. Then decided to break both motor mounts at the same time. Then have all the screws holding the mounting plate to the carrier bearing break. All in the last 4 months.

Re: Truck names?
Mine is a boy cause he works for a livin' and has balls (big block) and his name is "Ol Blue" cause he's old and blue. Name is from PO but I promised to keep it, he was the original owner and agreed I deserved to own him.
