need some help

Hey all,

I leaving for Bass Lake in two weeks with my truck...I lowering the rear 4 inches and the front 2 inches with ECE lowering kit. It came with the KYB lowering shocks...its a C20 so the coils in the rear are nothing nut jello, So i was wondering what I could do right now for shocks. I want to use manual fit bags, but i dont think I have time for that right now. hopefully you guys could help me with a quick fix to replacing my shocks with heavier duty ones instead of the drop shocks.. thanks in advance.

Brandon

If you not notching the truck any factory replacment will bolt on and work.... may not be ideal but it will work.

What does not ideal mean. I dont want to mess up the geometry of the shocks by using non drop shocks....also willing to c notch the frame....in a perfect world i want to put manual fill bags, but im only 19 and going to school....so i dont have the best cash flow at the moment.

Look back through the links that were provided in the other thread. There are 2 threads on how to modify the shock brackets for free/cheap. This helps keep the shock geometry close to or better than factory.....

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.
